Museum Ref No: AH_Harvesting_Lavender_Broadstone_1Postcard reads "Harvesting lavender at the Flower Farm, Broadstone".
It shows Corfe Lodge in the distance. Corfe Lodge has since been renamed Lavender Lodge and sits on the corner of Corfe Lodge Road and the more recent cul-de-sac Lavender Way. Corfe Lodge was once part of the Canford Estate. There is an article on the Lavender farm by Olive Knott in the Dorset Year Book 1956-57 page 60-62 where the same view is reproduced.
